DC United have acquired the services of Davy Arnaud from the Montreal Impact.
The 33-year old attacking midfielder, who captained the Impact for the past two seasons, makes his way to Washington in return for an international roster spot.
Regarding the move, DC general manager Dave Kasper suggested it was an extremely positive one for the Washington club.
"Davy is a versatile midfielder who has a wealth of MLS experience," Dave Kasper said in a news release.
"He will add leadership on the field and in the locker room, and we look forward to having him as part of United."
Furthermore, the former Sporting Kansas City star was excited about making the shift from Canada back to the USA after helping the Impact settle in MLS.
Thanks to the teammates, fans and @impactmontreal organization for the last 2 years. Made some great friendships and memories....
