MLS club DC United have announced they will take on Scottish giants Rangers in a friendly in July. DCU will host the Scottish Premier League champions on July 24 at RFK Stadium in a first-ever meeting between the two clubs.
"Glasgow Rangers are one of the world's most storied clubs and it's an honor for D.C. United to compete against them," said United President and CEO Kevin Payne. "Rangers fans are famous for their loyalty and passion, and we look forward to welcoming them to RFK Stadium this summer. This match provides even further added value to our season ticket members and continues our long tradition of testing ourselves against the world's best clubs."
Tickets for this match are available as part of season ticket membership and half season plan B as Special Game D. Individual game tickets will go on sale at a later date for $30 at the Spectator level, $40 at Premium level, $50 at VIP level and $60 at the Mezzanine level. Groups of 15 or more can purchase at discounted prices of $25 for Spectator level, $30 for Premium, $40 for VIP and $50 for Mezzanine level.
