DC United announce Cronin off injury list

DC United announced today that goalkeeper Steve Cronin has been removed from the Disabled List and is available for selection in tonight's match against the Houston Dynamo at Robertson Stadium.

Cronin has been sidelined since suffering a broken left wrist during a club training session on February 8 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Meanwhile, United also announced that midfielder Junior Carreiro has been placed on the Disabled List following a sprained ankle suffered in a pre-season friendly match against Florida International University.

Cronin is currently in his second stint with D.C. United, coming to the Black-and-Red from the Portland Timbers on December 17, 2010 in a deal that sent fellow goalkeeper Troy Perkins to Oregon.
