Tottenham captain Michael Dawson has welcomed the arrival of Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Manchester City striker has joined Spurs on-loan for the season.
Dawson told the Spurs website: "He's a great addition to the squad. I've played against him on many occasions and he's scored a few goals against us.
"He's a big, strong guy, he can hold the ball up, head it and has great technique.
"It's a chance for him to come and play football and I'm sure he'll be determined to show everyone what he can do."
