Tottenham defender Michael Dawson says they must be focused for their clash with Aston Villa.

The showdown is seen as an early top four decider.

He told Spurs' website: "They have Milner, Young, Agbonlahor, Carew or Heskey - they have pace and big, physical strength as well. We'll have to be at our best and hopefully we'll put on another good performance."

Dawson added: "Everyone is talking about the 9-1 but we have to go to Villa and try and to put that behind us and get a good result.

"We're three points ahead of them and it's a big game for us. We won there last season and it was a great performance and great result. It would be nice to do that again."
