Michael Dawson is only thinking of a future at Tottenham.

The England defender came close to joining QPR in August, before turning down the move.

"The January transfer window is a long way away." he told talkSPORT. "We're only in October and there are loads of games coming up in the next 25 days.

"From a player's point of view anything can happen. I've been in the position where I've been playing and got injured and someone has replaced me.

"I'm ready, training hard each day and when my chance comes, I'll be ready to take the opportunity."
