Tottenham defender Michael Dawson feels they can cope with Ledley King's retirement.

King announced he was hanging up his boots earlier this summer.

Dawson told the Sunday Mirror: "Ledley will be a Tottenham legend forever. To lose someone like Ledley is a massive blow to the football club, to the fans, to Ledley King. But players step up. We've signed Jan, we've got William, Younis, Steven (Caulker) and Bass. We've certainly got depth in the centre half position. We'll all be going out to play well."
