Tottenham defender Michael Dawson wants manager Harry Redknapp to stay in his role at the club for the good of the team and the fans.
The Spurs boss has been heavily linked with the England, more so since Fabio Capello's departure last week, but Dawson hopes he stays put at White Hart Lane as the North Londoners continue to develop as a top-line English club.
"We were in a bad situation. We were in a bad position in the league table and the players - a lot of whom are still here - were playing below par.
"He has lifted everyone, so of course the fans are going to be happy when we put in performances like we did on Saturday and when they see where we are in the league.""I think they (the fans) realise what he has done since he came in," he told the Press Association.
