Michael Dawson admits he's excited watching Tottenham teammate Gareth Bale in action.
The Spurs defender is quick to remind people Bale is no overnight success.
He said: "You saw against Inter Milan. We're 4-0 down and the game's over. In the second half he was magical, scoring that hat-trick.
"I was sat at home watching it thinking, 'Wow!'.
"You need a team around you, but when he had the ball, it was Roy of the Rovers stuff.
"Gareth was 18 when he came to Tottenham and they paid a lot of money for him.
"When it doesn't start like a dream, it's hard. He wasn't playing for the first half of last season, but he got his chance and never looked back.
"That is how football can be. When you get a chance, you have to take it and he certainly did that."
