Davy Propper proud of first season at Brighton

Davy Propper is proud of his first season at Brighton.

The former PSV Eindhoven midfielder joined Brighton last summer for a club record fee - which has since been broken.

Propper, 26, told AD: "They do not get you for nothing.

"I was the most expensive purchase of the club when I arrived. Then you automatically gain confidence. I was told that too. That's why I immediately had a good feeling when I switched, I believed it would work out well. Although I admit, the Premier League is a bit different than the Eredivisie.

"It's different for everyone, but I was not ready at the age of nineteen. I went from Vitesse to PSV, a top club in the Netherlands. That worked out very well. I recommend it to everyone."
