Davy Propper is delighted with his progress at Brighton.
The Holland midfielder left PSV Eindhoven for the Seagulls in August and feels he's improved week after week.
Propper told Soccervision: "My role is different from that of Vitesse and PSV.
"At PSV, I played something more offensive.
"Here I have to work with Dale Stephens to build up from midfield. I can join if there is space, but I have to keep my defensive tasks in mind.
"There's not time to take a ball, because there are two men breathing down your neck straight away."
Pröpper is looking forward to his first Christmas programme.
"Football on Boxing Day is special, definitely one of the first times for me," he added.
