Sean Davis has called on Portsmouth to make their intentions clear over his contract situation.
He told the Portsmouth News: "It's up to the club really. I want to stay. I asked for a contract last season and haven't heard back since. All I can do is get my head down and see what happens, but I want to play here.
"I had the chance to move to Celtic but wanted to stay in the Premier League and go on a journey with Portsmouth Football Club. Obviously, I came to the club when they were in a desperate situation. Now they have moved on. That's progress, and I want to move with the club as well.
"Portsmouth are going in the right direction - the owner's given good backing and hopefully we can go on a run. I don't want to go anywhere else but at the moment I have no idea where my future will be.
"The ball's in their court, it's always been in their court."
