Steven Davis has revealed that Southampton are targeting a Europa League finish once again this season.

Southampton managed to defy the odds last term by finishing in one of the Europa League positions despite losing a host of their key players and now midfielder Davis has revealed that the Saints are aiming for a similar finish in the current campaign.

Davis told the Daily Echo: "That's the aim. That's the ambition of the team to try and improve every season, but we know it's never easy in the Premier League.

"You just have to go into every game and give it our all and hopefully have a good run and get into the Europa League as well."
