Wolves have recalled midfielder David Davis from his loan spell at League OneChesterfield to cover for a raft of recent injuries at Molineux. A statement on Chesterfield's official website read: "Everyone at Chesterfield FC want to thank David for his time with the Spireites and wish him well for the next stage of his football career."
Wolves' caretaker boss Terry Connor admitted the decision to recall Davis was mainly based on the injury to Karl Henry, who faces three to four weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
Connor said: "As a result of his injury, and also with Dave Edwards being unavailable at Fulham, we have decided to recall David Davis from his loan spell at Chesterfield.
"It gives us another option given the injuries and we've had David watched closely on loan at both Inverness and Chesterfield this season where he has done very well."
