Portsmouth boss Tony Adams has confirmed that midfielder Sean Davis will not be leaving the club after offers were turned down.
Bolton were believed to have made an offer for the 29-year old but Davis will not be making a move away from Fratton Park.
"Sean was fantastic for us against Fulham [on Saturday]," Adams told the club's official website.
"His commitment and work-rate were magnificent.
"He's done great for this club and I would be mad to let him go somewhere else.
"I can understand why other clubs would be interested in Sean but we need him right now, so it's thanks but no thanks.
"We've offered him a three-and-a-half year deal and we're hopeful that he'll sign that."
