Davies will reject Leicester stay for Villa return

Aston Villa defender Curtis Davies is ready to leave Leicester City.

Davies, 25, has opted to go back to Aston Villa on January 4 when his loan at the Foxes expires, says the Mirror.

Eriksson was willing to meet Villa's £2.5million price tag and tried desperately to sign him permanently.

But Davies wants to return to Villa to consider his options as he hopes to stay in the Premier League.

Stoke, Wolves, Bolton and German club Werder Bremen are all interested in him.
