Hull City skipper Curtis Davies has welcomed new midfield signings Tom Ince and Robert Snodgrass.
The pair have signed for the Tigers over the past week.
"I've played against the pair of them and they're two very good players," said Davies to the Hull Daily Mail.
"The Championship was too easy for Tom. He might not have been a 10 out of 10 every week and people would say that's him off the boil but it's hard to keep your quality levels up. It was no challenge for him.
"It will be good for him to have a good go at the Premier League because that's the way he'll kick on.
"Snodgrass has been here before obviously and had a decent season in a struggling Norwich side.
"He scored seven goals, which is more than any of our lads managed, and that's from left wing."
