Kevin Davies is urging Bolton Wanderers to do all they can to land Sporting Lisbon midfielder Miguel Veloso.
The Daily Star Sunday says skipper Davies has urged Bolton's board to spend £12 million on Portugal international Veloso.
The Trotters went well down the road in trying to sign the midfielder during the January market.
