Davies unconcerned with Fulham form

Fulham midfielder Simon Davies believes they go into their clash with West Brom in top form - despite defeat to West Ham last weekend.

"I think everyone in the ground would have said that we were on top but if you don't score goals when you're on top, more often than not you pay for it. They took their chances when they had them and we didn't - that's the name of the game," he told fulhamfc.com.

"We were playing well; creating a lot of chances then gave away two bad goals from our point of view so it was frustrating. It was a mad three minutes really, with the two goals and AJ getting sent off.

"At half-time we were wondering 'where did that come from?', but that's football. We tried to deal with it the best we could and, to be fair to the lads, we came out well in the second-half, got a good goal and with a bit of luck could have got away with a draw.

"But we've still got to take the positives out of it, we'll go into the next game and keep trying to play our game and keep as solid as possible.

"We're five games into the season, we don't get too carried away when we're winning and we don't get too disheartened when we're losing. We've just go to keep an even keel."
