Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Davies has rapped their defending after defeat at Blackburn Rovers.
Davies knows a long hard slog against relegation awaits Wanderers unless results start to pick up soon.
"The goals we conceded were very poor from our point of view," he said. "We had spells in the game, I think, but to have gone in a goal down was very disappointing. The second killed us off a bit.
"The manager has described them as 'schoolboy goals' and definitely the manner they went in was poor. We have to work a little bit harder as a team - the third one, Dioufy was given too much time to cross the ball and then we didn't defend it when he did.
"It's basics really and as a team we need to improve quickly."
