Curtis Davies says it's exciting playing in Aston Villa's young team.
Davies, Ashley Young and Gabby Agbonlahor have all been involved in this week's England squad and the defender said: "Villa have a lot of good players coming through the ranks. I think a lot of the players won the FA Youth Cup a few years ago and a lot of the players came through that team.
"The gaffer (Martin O'Neill) also likes to buy English. He's brought me, Nigel Reo-Coker, Ashley Young and James Milner in, so he does like young English players.
"Hopefully we can push on with Aston Villa and perhaps all break into the England team.
"Gabby has great pace first and foremost but he's not just fast, he's powerful as well. You see some people who are fast but they get knocked off the ball easily.
"When Gabby's running with the ball, he's still strong enough to hold you off at the same time.
"Ashley can put a ball wherever he wants it. He's got an unbelievable delivery and, if you check his Villa stats, I think he creates or scores a goal every other game."
