Davies only focused on breaking back into Bolton line-up

Kevin Davies wants to stay with Bolton Wanderers.

The 34-year-old striker scored his first goal since November after just 37 seconds against Macclesfield in Tuesday's FA Cup third-round win and is targeting a place against Liverpool on Saturday.

He told the Daily Star: "I'm just like anyone who's left out the side - it's disappointing and it's not something I've been accustomed to for a while.

"I have looked at my levels of performance and they have probably not been good enough, so I have been left out of the team."
