Fulham's players are relishing the chance of European football next season, says midfielder Simon Davies.

He told fulhamfc.com: "There could be a lot of extra games next season but that's were you want to be - challenging in Europe. From where we were last year to finishing seventh is an unbelievable achievement. I don't think anyone realistically expected it. We won massive games at important times and once you get on a run the confidence grows. It's so much easier when there's no pressure on you.

"At the end of the day we know that next season is going to be just as tough. Just because we've finished seventh this year doesn't mean we have any divine right to beat there next year - it depends on what sort of run you get on during the season. We were fortunate enough to win big games at crucial times."
