Simon Davies says Fulham can take heart from the way their young players have played this season.

Ahead of their clash with Reading, the midfielder told the "You can look at it both ways. On one hand we'll be missing experienced players but we've got young players who can come in and impress. I thought Elliot (Omozusi) did really well against Sunderland at right back and he certainly didn't look out of place.

"The young lads are creating even more competition for places when the senior players return. That's what you've got to do to make it in the game. When you get given your chance you've got to step in and take it and if you do that you're on your way to becoming a regular."
