Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies is again at loggerheads with David Pleat. Davies was furious after Forest's much maligned transfer panel - headed by football consultant Pleat - failed to make a single signing in January for the second successive season, reports the Daily Star.
Forest made bids for Crystal Palace wonderkid Victor Moses, Swansea midfielder Darren Pratley and also wanted Nicky Shorey on loan for the rest of the season.
And the Forest boss' frustration only increased when promotion rivals Newcastle made six signings, while West Brom recruited two.
He said: "It is no secret that I wanted three players during the January transfer window, in different positions. I am obviously disappointed but will work to the best of my ability with what we have got.
"There are a lot of points still to be won. And we have got to go and put together a second run. Whether we win the next game or lose it, we know what we have to do to get over the line."
