Kevin Davies has challenged Bolton teammates Gary Speed and Kevin Nolan to react positively to their axing for Sunday's defeat by Chelsea.
Davies, given the armband in Nolan's absence, said: "Everyone has to know their positions aren't safe. We'll see how the captain and the likes of Gary Speed react."
