Ben Davies admits Gareth Bale had a big influence on his move to Tottenham.
Davies has revealed that Bale's history with Tottenham Hotspur played a part in his decision to move to White Hart Lane, although he does not want to be compared to the Real Madrid star.
"Gareth always used to say what a good club Tottenham were and how they always looked after him," former Swansea City fullback Davies told the Sun on Sunday.
"That has always stuck with me and is one reason why I decided to make this move.
"People will want to compare me with Gareth but we are different types. He is a huge person to live up to, a superstar."
