Bolton's Kevin Davies has welcomed this weekend's break, hoping it will recharge the squad.

| The Wanderers' next match isn't until January 28 which pleases Davies as his club attempts to turn their recent poor form around.

"It has been a difficult fortnight for us, playing against the top sides but I think we should have had a couple of points out of it," he said.

"We have got a small squad and it has been the same players week in, week out, so this break will give us a chance to recharge and get a few bodies back.

"It's important we come back fighting for the last 16 games of the season."
