Curtis Davies admits he's no fan of the rotation system at Aston Villa.
The England hopeful said: "I can only do what I'm doing, try to perform in training and on the pitch like I know I can."
Davies admits he found the rotation system hard to take after being dropped for four games against Ajax, Wigan, Blackburn and Newcastle.
"It came as a bit of a shock.
"I got taken off at half-time against Chelsea, played the next game against Portsmouth and we drew 0-0 against a good strikeforce in Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe and then I found myself on the bench.
"It was very frustrating."
