Kevin Davies admits Bolton Wanderers are struggling for form after their defeat to Fulham.

"We are aware there's a lot of hard work needs to be done," said Bolton's late scorer. "We haven't won since the opening day and we need to get another win under our belts.

"We started poorly and looked off the pace. Their front two caused us problems and Fulham deserved to be 2-0 up at half-time.

"We looked disjointed, although we played better in the second half.

"That's how we should have started the game. There are not too many positives to come out of the match."
