Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Davies admits they can't shake their 'dirty team' tag.
Davies insisted ten-man Bolton got a raw deal at Arsenal - and claimed they are still cannot get rid of their dirty tag.
He said: "I think we are a little bit (unfairly tagged as dirty) but it's not something we're overly concerned about.
"It's more up to the players we have playing well, giving 100 per cent, playing with passion and that's all the manager asks and if he's getting that then he's happy.
"But we're not going to blame referees. We need to look at ourselves really. Going down to ten men gave us a mountain to climb. But we proved two weeks ago against Birmingham we could do that. But I don't think we showed that same spirit."
