Ajax are interested in Crystal Palace fullback Nathaniel Clyne.
The Daily Mail says the right back, 20, played every minute of every match for the Eagles last season and was the shining light in an otherwise disappointing season for the south London club.
Ajax are looking to replace Gregory van der Wiel - who is set to join either Chelsea or Bayern Munich - and have been recommended Clyne by Edgar Davids.
The former Holland midfielder had a brief spell at Selhurst Park at the start of last season and he is now on the Amsterdam club's supervisory board.
Having turned down moves to Birmingham and Wolves in the past in order to learn his trade in Championship, Clyne, the club's player of the year, is now ready to move on and fulfil his potential.
His advisors are reportedly trying to manufacture a move away and Ajax's interest may alert the likes of Arsenal and QPR, who have both been credited with an interest in the past.
