FC Cluj midfielder Davide Petrucci has spoken of his time with Manchester United.

Petrucci has just helped Cluj win the Romanian Cup, managing 41 appearances this season.

He told EuropaCalcio.it of his time with United: "When I got the call from United it was difficult, almost impossible, to say no. Every boy intends to play in teams like the Red Devils, and when you have the chance to realize a dream like this I think you have to go without thinking too much.

"When I arrived in Manchester, United had just won the Champions League, and shortly thereafter they won the Club World Cup, it was the strongest team in the world. All the successes they had were not the result of chance or a couple of good vintages, we are talking about a club with the top players, players with personality, real men, in addition to qualified coaches and, above all, there was Sir Alex Ferguson who kept everything under control always putting first the club and then the player."
