Davide Astori has confirmed he's signed a new three-year contract with Cagliari.

The defender has been linked with AS Roma and Lazio.

"I have been here for six years, I grew and matured in Sardinia," said Astori.

"I was eager to show my recognition towards Cagliari. I thank President Giulini, as it was a decision we made together."
