David Silva has hailed the impact at Manchester City of Frank Lampard this season.

Silva is happy playing in midfield alongside the Chelsea icon.

He said: "Frank is doing very well for us and he's chipped in with a lot of important goals.

"He's a very experienced player and he's obviously a real class act.

"I'm very happy not just with my form this season but all the years that I have been here. I feel that I have always strived to try and improve all the time and I think I am continuing to improve.

"The main thing, though, is that improvement can serve towards us hopefully winning something at the end of the season."
