David Costas has been called up by Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde.

For the trip to Valencia, Valverde has turned Barcelona B centre-back Costas.

The Txingurri is without Gerard Pique and Javier Mascherano, though everything indicates that Samuel Umtiti and Thomas Vermaelen will play.

However, both are left-footed.
