Dave Watson enjoying Newcastle academy job
Newcastle United academy coach Dave Watson is enjoying his time in the Northeast.
Watson has guided the young Mags to the last 16 of the FA Youth Cup and is loving life at Newcastle.
“The staff have worked hard and the kids have worked hard. They are all keen to learn. If you’ve got a group like that, you have a chance. It really helps.
“The kids all support Newcastle and when the first team is going great it helps.
“The youth team are doing all right as well. It will be great for the club if we can do well in the FA Youth Cup.”He told the Evening Chronicle: “I’ve been in since early November and it’s been great. I’ve settled in really well. I have enough experience to settle into places quite quickly.
