Aston Villa midfielder Jonathan Hogg is joining Darlington on-loan.

Hogg will join the League Two side until January 2.

Hogg is a combative central man who loves a tackle but also wades in with his fair share of goals.

He recovered from a serious knee injury, requiring treatment in the USA, to be the top scorer in Villa's triumphant reserve campaign last season.
