Darlington return to the FA Cup today after a two-year absence.
The Daily Star reports the Evo-Stik Northern League Premier League side were banned from the competition after falling into administration under a previous regime.
Resurrected as Darlington 1883 after their expulsion from the FA, they were still relegated five divisions and banned from the most famous cup competition in the world.
Today they travel for an FA Cup qualifying round derby at West Auckland, a division below Darlington who have seven points from their first three league games. Blyth Spartans await the winners.
