Darcheville wants to play out career at Rangers

Rangers striker Jean-Claude Darcheville wants to play out his career at Ibrox.

The 32-year-old French frontman was a summer signing from Bordeaux and has hit eight goals in an injury-disrupted first campaign in Scotland.

His contract runs until the end of next season and Darcheville would jump at the chance to stay for longer.

"I really enjoy it here and the football is good. My family is settled and I would love to finish at Rangers," he said. "I have a year left on my current deal after this season but I would be very happy if that was extended. It is up to the club of course, but I would like to stay."
