Burnley striker Danny Ings is convinced they'll be competitive in the Premier League.
Speaking from the club's Austrian training camp, the former Bournemouth hitman insists the Clarets are in good shape to spring a few surprises.
He told Clarets Player: "The Premier League is a challenge that me personally, and the whole team are looking forward to.
"I think that's why we have come back this year even fitter than last year.
"We were such a fit squad anyway, but to come back this year, as we have, shows that the lads really want to have a right go and mix it with the best players in the world.
"One thing I know is we will work as hard as we can from start to finish and just try our best against the top teams and hopefully we can surprise a few people.
"And the way the lads look - and how hungry they look - I think we will do that."
