Blackburn Rovers defender Scott Dann hopes they can keep their squad together.

He can't imagine Junior Hoilett and Christopher Samba will be allowed to leave.

He said: "They are big ­players and hopefully they stay with us. It would be good if we can add a few new players to boost the squad too.

"I hope Junior stays, carries on scoring goals and creating chances for us.

"I have enjoyed playing in defence alongside Chris and we were starting to get a good understanding before my injury.

"It is down to the club and the players about keeping them and we can't really think too much about that, as we have just got to ­concentrate on getting points to help us get out of our ­current position."
