Danilo hopes Real Madrid can keep hold of their senior stars.

The former Porto fullback is set to be formally presented as a Real player.

Asked about Iker Casillas and Sergio Ramos, Danilo said: "They are historical players, who deserve our support in difficult times."

Danilo also spoke of competition at Real.

"(Dani) Carvajal and (Alvaro) Arbeloa have their story, I must conquer my space. Right now I am the third right back of Real Madrid."
