Daniel Alves has welcomed Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona.
The Barca fullback admits he's happy the transfer saga is over for the ex-Arsenal captain.
"I am pleased because it was a fairly long soap opera and it was creating some controversy," said Alves. "I've lived this situation and it is inconvenient for the player, but more importantly it is fixed, he is here, and is welcome.
"He is a player of great quality and who already knows what it means to wear this shirt."
