Daniel Alves feels Barcelona's players let down Pep Guardiola last season.

Alves recalled the departure of Guardiola yesterday.

"I have the feeling that Guardiola was supporting us. We have not responded on the field and we feel responsible for his departure.

"Pep decided to announce the news when he felt it was inevitable. He was direct and sincere. The decision itself was difficult to accept by everyone. When you get that information, everything else has little importance."
