Dani Pacheco is hoping to play his way into new Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish's first team plans.
The 20-year-old scored a fantastic goal during the reserves' 2-1 win over Sunderland in front of the Scot on Tuesday afternoon, and set up another goal for Nikola Saric.
"For me Kenny Dalglish is the main man here, he is someone we all look up to and everyone respects him a lot," Pacheco told Liverpoolfc.tv.
"I can keep working hard every day at Melwood in training and when the chance comes I have to take it.
"I hope I can challenge for a place and it's a new challenge for all of us, especially the young players because Kenny knows every player in the Academy."
