Dani Ceballos was delighted with his brace in Real Madrid's 2-1 win at Alaves.

It was Ceballos' first goals for Real since his summer arrival from Real Betis.

He declared afterwards: “It was the debut that I dreamed of. I'm happy to help the team to the win. I feel doubly satisfied. We need to keep pushing on and hopefully catch up with our rivals. Alavés are a strong team at home and I think they can create a lot of problems for teams if they continue to play this way.

“We're not great in front of goal but the important is that we create chances in front of goal. We need to close games off quicker. We have many games ahead of us. If we all pull in the same direction we can move forward as a unit".

“I worked hard for this moment to come. I never give up and have always kept working harder and harder to achieve what I did today. I need to keep working hard."
