Departing Juventus fullback Daniel Alves has hinted he's ready to join Manchester City.

There have been reports that the Brazil international has agreed a two year deal with the Blues and the 34-year-old has been discussing his future while back in his home country.

Speaking to Conversa com Bial, he said: “Leaving Juve on a free transfer? I don't know what's happening. Have I asked to leave? I've left the work to my agents, and they've said they'd talk to me once they found a resolution.

“If I go, it'll be without any conflicts, without any problems, as opposed to what's being said.

“City my next team? Well, everyone knows my admiration for Pep Guardiola. If this happens (a move to City), it will be a huge pleasure."
