Hamburg are chasing Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner. The ambitious Bundesliga outfit has named departing Chelsea chief Frank Arnesen as their incoming sports director.
And BILD says Arnesen considers Bendtner to be the perfect replacement for Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The Dane's current contract with the Gunners runs until the summer of 2014, meaning that he won't be available on the cheap.
