Danek leaving West Brom

Czech Republic goalkeeper Michal Danek is leaving West Brom.

The 25-year-old is currently on loan at Albion - who he joined in January from Viktoria Plzen. But Baggies boss Tony Mowbray is now willing to release him.

Motherwell, Dutch club Den Haag and a number of German teams are ready to make loan bids, although it is reported Danek would rather stay in Britain and move to Fir Park.

Danek's agent Ondrej Chovanec added: "Michal discussed it with the coach Mowbray who told him that he understands his position and will allow him to find a club where he will be playing regularly. The same as demanded at Viktoria Plzen."
